Key Worker System

When your child starts at Poppets, they are allocated a Key Worker. This is a familiar member of staff who helps your child settle, feel secure and build trusting relationships. The Key Worker:

  • Supports your child emotionally and socially
  • Monitors progress and development
  • Provides reassurance and continuity
  • Keeps parents informed of progress regularly

Parents are involved at all stages of assessment, planning and review, ensuring strong partnership working.

Food, Care & Daily Routine

Explore what your child’s day includes, from nutritious refreshments and what we provide, to what parents need to bring and the daily activities children enjoy at Poppets Pre‑School.

Children are provided with milk and water throughout the morning sessions, along with a healthy, nutritious snack and fresh fruit every day.

We do not charge for funded early education hours and do not request contributions from parents for consumables.

All consumables are provided by Poppets Pre‑School, including:

  • Snacks and drinks
  • Craft materials
  • Baking and cooking resources
  • Nappies
  • Wipes
  • Sunscreen (where required)

A typical day at Poppets includes structured learning, free play, group activities, creative sessions and outdoor play.

We offer child‑friendly facilities designed for comfort, safety and learning.
